Launch of BSFL Innovation
Uganda Martyrs University launched the Black Soldier Fly Larvae Innovation as an alternative Livestock feed on the 24th of September 2021 on a ceremony presided over by Hon. Dr. Elly Karuhanga, The Chairman Board of Directors for PSFU.

Our Scholars
ACALISE supports Uganda Martyr University Post Graduate students at both PhD and Masters level. These scholars are specializing in Agro-ecology and Food Systems, Monitoring and Evaluation, Microfinance, and Development Economics. Project students are Local, Regional and International.

Uganda Martyrs University Radio
Uganda Martyrs University under the auspice of ACALISE is in advanced stages of setting up a radio station. This effort is supported by the partnership with the Ministry of ICT and National Guidance, and Broadcast Access limited.

Agroecology and Livelihoods Baseline Analysis
The main objective of the study was to assess the status of agro-ecology and livelihood skills gaps in Uganda. Specifically, the study examined the status of agro-ecological practices among smallholder farmers in Uganda, assessed the capacity of agro-ecological value chains in stimulating the adoption of agroecological practices among smallholder farmers and the capacity of actors in influencing policies that affect agroecology.
